NGC 185 is a dwarf elliptical galaxy of type
dE3 pec.
NGC 185 forms a gravitational bound pair with
nearby NGC 147 and both are gravitationally bound to M31 in Andromeda. NGC
185a red shift distance of approximately 9 million light years.
