NGC 180 is classified as type SBb-c with a surface brightness of 15.5, distance is 225 Mly. A close inspection shows opposing gas flows from the bar ends. The DSS image shows the same. I've imaged one other galaxy with opposing flow from bar ends and although it was noted in research papers, no explanation was given.
