NGC 5668 is type Scd-R a at red shift distance of 73 Mly.
Schulman, et.al., found high velocity clouds similar to the high velocity clouds in our own galaxy. "Two components of high-velocity gas are present in NGC~5668; one may be from an accretion event, while the other is visible due to the increased H I velocity dispersion throughout the optical disk and may be galactic fountain gas." (Schulman, et.al. 1996)
