The bubble is shaped by radiation from the extremely hot star Wolf-Rayet star located on the left edge of the bubble.  Wolf-Rayet stars periodically shed their shells.  Note the fainter and larger bubble remnant to the right.

The bubble is approximately 10 light years in diameter and is  approximately 11,300 light years distant.
